There are different ways of getting involved with EduKA:

Join our organization and help us to expand and to continue our work. You can assist in a wide range of areas such as admin, marketing, communication with partners and with our counterpart in Kenya, campaigning, etc. We do not look for any previous experience, just a genuine desire to help!

Visit the community of Kiburanga and work as a volunteer on our projects whilst enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Before applying, you should be aware of the following:

– Volunteers’ tasks in Kiburanga are carried out jointly with volunteers from our local counterpart, Kiburanga Women Self Help Group. The official languages in Kenya are Swahili and English so the communication with the local volunteers will be in English.

– During their visit, volunteers will stay with local volunteers so that they find out what life is really like for a Kenyan family.

– Volunteers will visit female members of the community and will have the chance to listen to their stories and find out more about Kenyan culture.

– Regrettably, EduKA cannot cover volunteers’ travel, accommodation or food costs during their stay.

We recommend a stay of at least three weeks; however, volunteers are free to decide when they go and for how long they stay.

If you are interested in working either from Spain or United Kingdom or even becoming a volunteer in Kiburanga and would like more information on what is involved, do not hesitate to contact us using our contact form.

Thank you for your interest!
